Working with Motivus

Motivus are the sole contractor for all commercial advertising at Glasgow Prestwick International Airport. Their remit is to sell, produce and maintain all advertising sites both inside and outside of the airport. Advertising sites include a4 poster sites, 6 sheet lightboxes, exhibition areas, vinyl displays, plasma screens, mobile multimedia screen and outdoor 48/96 sheet billboards.

At Smith Design Solutions we are responsible for all artwork generation for direct clients as well as creation and maintenance of their website. Printing of all materials (direct and agency supplied) is through one of our trade printers, installation and maintenance is handled directly by Motivus.

Motivus have a fixed price rate card for all design of materials and work on the basis of a 24 hour turnaround period for artwork with a 2 day print deadline. This allows Motivus to produce accurate schedules for installation and guarantees the advertiser a price and turnaround time. Feedback from both the advertiser and Motivus alike has been excellent.

Our latest project with Motivus involves producing video advertising for the plasma screens situated throughout the airport. Adverts are sold on 10 second and 30 second slots. Adverts are created in our video editing suite, supplied online for advertiser to approve. We then set up a timeline of all advertising on DVD which plays on a continuous loop on the plasma screens.
